It’s been a long summer for most and Casa Dragones continues to show its support for the bartender community as votes are tallied and its #CocktailsatHome program comes to a close.

Casa Dragones – Bartender Program
Over 100 tequila tastemakers showcased their mixology mastery with Casa Dragones Blanco by creating a unique no-stress cocktail presented in a how-to video tutorial for the at-home bartender.
Casa Dragones called on its social media followers to select the eight finalists who would then stream their viral cocktail creation on its @CasaDragones IGTV channel and put to a vote.
The four winners are William Hetzel from Mexico’s acclaimed Tokyo Music, Ben Potts whose Miami hot spots Beaker & Gray and The Sylvester Bar have long been local favorites. Chelsea Caplin from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and Pablo Pasti from Limantour in Mexico.
All participants received the coveted grant money needed for a minute of respite from this summer’s COVID chaos and the four winning bartenders walked away with a nice added bonus grant.
William Hetzel
Camera shy William Hetzel wins in Mexico with his Melon Paloma. The beverage director for Mexico’s renowned and innovative Edo Kobayashi Group lets the glass take center stage as he skillfully adds the ingredients with a rhythmic precision set to a whimsical beat. Tequila and juices pour in as written instructions appear on the screen like a perfectly timed cocktail karaoke. The resulting melon colored Blanco refresher on ice is all that is needed for a perfect summer night.
