Chilled has partnered with Marie Brizard to host the Toast to HERStory competition.
Challenging bartenders across the U.S. for a chance to create an original cocktail recipe to honor a woman who has inspired them.
Risk-taker Marie Brizard was a visionary leader since her brand’s creation in Bordeaux in 1755. A 260-year-old recipe that’s been kept secret and treasured, her flagship anisette liqueur is still considered a symbol of French elegance today. Marie Brizard is challenging bartenders to create a cocktail inspired by a women’s story, whether an iconic woman in history or a personal connection.
Cocktail entries can be submitted starting May 1 until June 6 for a chance to win. The competition invites bartenders to submit an originally crafted cocktail, utilizing Marie Brizard flavors and their HER inspiration.

Ingredients:
- 1 half Lime
- 2 spoons of Redcurrant/Blackcurrant Jelly
- 1 oz. Marie Brizard Apry
- 4 oz. Marie Brizard Grand’Orange
Preparation: Crush 1/2 a lime directly in the bottom of an old-fashioned fancy glass, add the jelly and ice, then pour in the Marie Brizard Apry Liqueur and the Marie Brizard Grand’Orange Liqueur. Stir with a spoon. Decorate with two cherries, a twist of orange and lime peel.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Marie Brizard Wild Strawberry
- 4 oz. Tequila
- Passion Fruit Juice
Preparation: Pour all the ingredients into a shaker with some ice cubes. Shake, filter, and serve a tumbler-type glass. Decorate with strawberries
