  • 1 oz. Monin Pomegranate Syrup
  • 3 Fresh Lime Wedges

Our Chilled 100 National Director Wendy Hodges has created two lovely Valentine’s Day cocktails using Mozart Chocolate Liqueurs.

Give them a mix!

Indulge in the sweet embrace of Cupid’s Confection, a delightfully whimsical cocktail that captures the essence of romance with every sip. This enchanting blend combines the creamy allure of white chocolate Mozart, the floral and fruity notes of clarified strawberry lavender cordial, and your choice of gin or vodka for a spirited touch.

Stirred for a perfectly chilled experience, this cocktail is elegantly poured over a pristine clear ice cube, creating a canvas for the heavenly float of white chocolate Mozart. Adorned with a charming white chocolate-covered strawberry, Cupid’s Confection is a toast to love and the perfect companion for any romantic occasion.

Cupid’s Confection

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Gin (or Vodka)
  • 1 oz. Strawberry Lavender Cordial*
  • ½ oz. Super Foam**
  • Fresh Lavender Sprig accompanied by a White Chocolate Covered Strawberry (for garnish)

Preparation

  1. Put all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice and shake hard for 30 seconds.
  2. Strain back into tin, dump the ice, and dry shake for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Pour cocktail into chilled glass, garnish, and enjoy immediately.

Additional Notes

Pro Tip: The first liquid will be slightly cloudy so transfer the strainer to a second bowl and then add the cloudy liquid back in. Don’t be in a hurry… this process takes time, so relax and trust the process.

*Strawberry Lavender Cordial


Ingredients

  • 500 g Sugar
  • 300 g Filtered Water
  • 5 g Maldon Sea Salt
  • 10 g Citric Acid
  • 10 g Tartaric Acid
  • 10 g Malic Acid
  • 250 g Strawberries
  • 2 g White tea
  • 15 g Lemon peel
  • 3 g Dried lavender
  • 1.31 g Super agar for clarification diluted in 200g water

Preparation

  1. Sous vide all ingredients except Super agar for 30 minutes at 60c.
  2. Fine strain cordial and allow to cool to room temperature.
  3. Make an ice bath and set aside.
  4. Bring 100 g of water and 1.31 g Super agar to boil and dissolve whisking continuously.
  5. Remove from heat and slowly whisk in room temperature cordial.
  6. Transfer to another container and put the container with the mixture into the ice bath or freezer and let sit for an hour or two until a soft gel forms from the Super agar.
  7. Give mixture a stir to break up the gel and slowly strain through strainer lined with cheese cloth into a bowl until clear.

**Super Foam


Ingredients

  • 500 g Water
  • 3 g Methylcellulose
  • 0.3 g Xathan Gum
  • 20 g Gum Arabic

Preparation

  1. We’ll start by heating up 160 g of water until it's gently simmering.
  2. Then I'll use my handy magnetic stirrer, to help dissolve the methylcellulose.
  3. This won’t fully dissolve and hydrate until we add cold water as well, but we need it to mix with the Xanthan gum and gum arabic first, which will add to get the wonderful texture we’re looking for from our Super Foam.
  4. So, let this mix for five minutes, then slowly add the remaining 340 g of cold water into the spinning solution.
  5. Continue mixing for another five minutes until everything hydrates completely.
  6. Pour into a condiment bottle and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
  7. It will last up to 1 week, but you can also freeze it for a longer life.

  • ½ oz. Cherry Brandy
  • ½ oz. Espresso
  • ½ oz. Super Foam*
  • 4 dashes Cherry Bitters
  • Cherries on a pick and dusted dark cocoa (for garnish)

Preparation

  1. Combine the Mozart dark chocolate liqueur, brandy, super foam, bitters, and espresso in a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously until well-chilled and then dry shake to boost the foam.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.

*Super Foam


Ingredients

  • 500 g Water
  • 3 g Methylcellulose
  • 0.3 g Xathan Gum
  • 20 g Gum Arabic

Preparation

  1. We’ll start by heating up 160 g of water until it's gently simmering.
  2. Then I'll use my handy magnetic stirrer, to help dissolve the methylcellulose.
  3. This won’t fully dissolve and hydrate until we add cold water as well, but we need it to mix with the Xanthan gum and gum arabic first, which will add to get the wonderful texture we’re looking for from our Super Foam.
  4. So, mix it for five minutes, then slowly add the remaining 340 g of cold water into the spinning solution.
  5. Continue mixing for another five minutes until everything hydrates completely.
  6. Pour into a condiment bottle and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
  7. It will last up to 1 week, but you can also freeze it for a longer life.

Drink in History: The Hanky Panky

What do witchcraft, a woman barkeep, and the Prince of Wales all have in common?

You guessed it: our featured cocktail, the Hanky Panky, made of gin, sweet vermouth, Fernet-Branca, and an orange twist served up in a Martini glass or coup. Born at The Savoy Hotel’s American Bar in London, the Hanky Panky was created by Ada Coleman.

Yes, you read that right. A female bartender concocted the Hanky Panky. Coleman, aka “Coley,” as her celebrity clients called her, worked her way up as head bartender in 1903. Working there for more than two decades, she was the first and last female head bartender at American Bar, Britain’s oldest surviving cocktail bar that dates back to 1893.

Known for delighting even the most discriminating clientele like Mark Twain, Marlene Dietrich, the Prince of Wales, and Charlie Chaplin, Coleman was inspired to create the tipple for comic actor Charles Hawtrey when he came into the bar after a long day and asked for a drink ‘with punch.’

“[He] was one of the best judges of cocktails that I knew,” Ada Coleman is quoted as saying in the 1925 edition of The People newspaper. “It was for him that I spent hours experimenting until I had invented a new cocktail,” she said.

The next time the comedian came in, she stirred up her punchy creation and served it. First, he sipped it. And then proceeded to drain it down, proclaiming, “By jove! That is the real hanky-panky!” The name stuck, and the rest is history. Interesting to note: In those days, the term ‘hanky panky’ wasn’t associated with sex or shady dealings. It simply referred to trickery or magic.

The first time the Hanky Panky appears in print was in the 1930 cocktail book, The Savoy Cocktail Book by Harry Craddock (also, her successor as head barkeep at the hotel bar).

No doubt, Ada Coleman probably created dozens if not hundreds of cocktails during her time at the American Bar, but the Hanky Panky is what she’s known for. And yes, her legacy lives on.

Rumor has it they serve it two ways: Coleman’s original recipe and a barrel-aged Hanky Panky with four types of gin.

We can just imagine Ada looking down proudly and seeing how far the bar profession has come—not only embracing but celebrating women’s contributions. And for that, we raise a glass to Ada Coleman and her iconic glass ceiling-cracking legacy.

Hanky Panky

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Gin
  • 1 ½ oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 dashes Fernet-Branca
  • Orange Twist (for garnish)

Preparation

  1. Add ingredients to mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with orange twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ oz. Stoli Razberi Vodka
  • ¾ oz. Chambord
  • 1 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 4 Raspberries
  • 1 tsp. Agave
  • Lemonade, to top
  • Soda Water, to top

Preparation

  1. In a shaking tin add 4 raspberries and muddle.
  2. Then add vodka, Chambord and lemon juice.
  3. Squeeze in about a teaspoon of agave, add a little more if you like it sweeter (simple syrup works here too if that’s what you have on hand, go with ½ oz to start).
  4. Add ice to your shaking tin and shake for about 10 seconds.
  5. Strain over fresh ice in a collins glass and top it off with half lemonade and half soda water.
  6. Garnish with raspberries and a dried rosebud for a cute valentine’s touch!

The Reid Berry Caipiroska

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. The Reid Vodka
  • 1 Whole Lime, cut into quarters
  • ½ oz. Simple Syrup
  • 3-4 Fresh Medium Strawberries or 4-5 Frozen Strawberries (defrosted)*

Preparation

  1. Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Muddle lime and strawberries.
  3. Add ice to the shaker.
  4. Shake and pour all contents into a rocks glass.
  5. Garnish with strawberries and mint.

Additional Notes

*Note: If using puree instead of strawberries, use: 2 oz. The Reid Vodka, 1 oz. strawberry puree, 5-6 lime wedges and muddle lime, puree, and The Reid. Adjust for personal sweetness/sourness. Add crushed ice, swizzle, top with more crushed ice. Garnish with a strawberry and mint.

Launching nationwide on February 10, Sprinter will celebrate in Georgia, the Peach State, with a week of activities across Atlanta and Athens.

Starting Monday, Feb. 10, Sprinter will Paint the Peach State Peach with a packed schedule of events including:

  • Pop-Ups Celebrating Sprinter’s 2025 Partnership with The Eastern and the Georgia Theatre: From Feb 10 – Feb 15, Sprinter will host rooftop events and samplings at The Eastern in Atlanta and Georgia Theatre in Athens complete with Sprinter-themed merch, exclusive activations, and more.
  • Collaboration with Pauley’s Crepe Bar in Athens: Limited-Edition Peach crêpe special paired with Sprinter Peach at the local hot spot.
